We are home safe and sound. We had a truly magical experience in Mexico! We can't wait to share our images and stories with the children and our Advent friends. See everyone tomorrow!

This is Ms. Pfau at a school in the small town of Santa Fe. The students there speak both spanish and purepecha. We shared many wonderful experiences at the school. Today we are back in Mexico City where we climbed to the top of an ancient pyramid and learned about the history of the country of Mexico through the murals of Diego Rivera. We came for the butterflies but ended up falling in love with the people and culture of Mexico. We have many more images and stories, but it is difficult to use the computer here. Tonight we have a farewell dinner with our group and then fly home tomorrow!

Hola Amigos! We are here in Sierra Chincua butterfly colony in the mountains of Michoacan, Mexico. We are having a wonderful time. Today we saw a google of butterflies! In this picture the oyamel trees behind us are covered in them. They were flying around in the sun and landing all over. We have seen many parts of this rural area of Mexico including an amazing market in the mountain town of Tlalpujuhaua. We hope to share more with you later and already have tons of amazing photos to show when we return. Hasta Luego!
